December Holiday Reviews 2012 – One A Day – #13

To get everyone into the mood for celebrating winter, the final month of the year, or any of the many religious and non-religious festivals that will occur this month, we’re showcasing reviews for a range of holiday-themed books here. One a day, and since the books on the web site are all from this year, we’re giving books from previous years some extra attention here on the blog. I hope you’ll join us in having a look at the “Golden Oldies”!

This is a “really funny story”, reviewed by Serena, who recommends it “if you don’t mind some extremely hot sex when the sex toys finally do come out”. You can also find the full review on the Rainbow Book Reviews site by clicking here.

Book Blurb

Jason’s boyfriend Chad recently moved out, effectively ending their relationship. A few weeks before Christmas, Barry calls to invite Jason to a holiday party in the hopes of cheering him up. Turns out it’s a sexy toy party, and when Jason’s talked into helping out, the sexy host Nigel has something special in store for him after the party.

Book Review

This is a really funny story, with lots of humor as Chad tries to get over his previous relationship – sort of. Only he doesn’t really want to and ends up going to his friend’s sex toy party to make his (kinky) ex curious. Only, things don’t go quite as expected. The story is full of interesting observations, gay men in couples and alone trying to have fun, and once the sex toys come out – hold onto your hats!

Chad is not at all interested in sex toys, yet he gets roped into this party. The situations and his initial resistance are too funny. But Nigel, the guy selling the toys, is too good to resist – and thank God Chad doesn’t.

If you like stories that make you laugh, if a man finding a new lover makes you smile and if you don’t mind some extremely hot sex when the sex toys finally do come out, you will like this story. I sure did!
